In an era when foreclosures are on the rise, one company is helping consumers combat the negative effects of predatory lending. Credit Apex is one of the nation’s most respected consumer advocate firms, whose mission is to help individuals and families rebuild their credit; particularly those who’ve been adversely affected by sub-prime lending practices.

The company announced today that its nationwide service will now include 24/7 Live Customer Support, beginning Monday, May 16th. Established in 2008, a group of legal professionals teamed up together to form what is now known as the Credit Apex Management Corporation. At its inception, the company sought primarily to assist minority families who were credit challenged and unable to purchase or even rent a home. In 2009, as the country entered a recession and the US economy continued to fluctuate, Credit Apex shifted its focus towards credit repair education and do-it-yourself tutorials, arming its clients with the necessary tools and resources to use against financial institutions and credit bureaus who sought to violate the rules of the Fair Credit Report Act (FCRA).

CT Thomas, a spokesperson for the company, says “education is the key.” "Most people are unaware of their legal rights when it comes to dealing with banks and financial institutions, so they often time succumb to the pressure of accepting unfavorable payment terms and inflated interest rates on loans," says Mr. Thomas. "I believe in Credit Apex, because they get results. They teach you how to challenge a system that can sometimes be discriminatory, and force the powers-that-be, to abide by the law. Studies show that 3 out of 5 consumers have negative information on their credit report, and nearly half of the reports studied contained factual errors. The errors were serious enough that the individuals affected, were prevented from qualifying for credit; which impacted their insurance rates and contributed to denial of employment, in jobs where they would have ordinarily qualified." Credit Apex uses FCRA Laws to assist their clients. Thomas Jefferson said, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
