Secret City Comics Society Opens a New Improv Comedy Theater in Downtown Fullerton on June 3

Secret City Comics Society, Orange County’s newest improvisational comedy theater, is pleased to announce its grand opening on Friday, June 3 in Fullerton, California.

Secret City Comics Society (SCCS), an improvisational comedy theater, is holding its grand opening on Friday, June 3, in Fullerton, California. SCCS presents clean comedy shows suitable for all ages and features comedic actors performing on-the-spot scenes based on audience suggestions.

Two teams of actors compete against each other, and the audience then decides the winning team. Secret City Comics Society is located at the Stage One Dance Studio, 141 West Wilshire Avenue in downtown Fullerton. Showtimes are Friday nights at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday nights at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

SCCS boasts a culturally-diverse cast of 15 actors and comedians from Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Alan Ng, creative director of SCCS, has been performing improvisational comedy for over 15 years. He trained with ComedySportz in Los Angeles and at the Orange County Performing Arts Center before performing comedy professionally in Orange County and San Diego.

From 2001 to 2010, Alan was a senior performer and instructor with National Comedy Theater in San Diego, California. National Comedy Theater is the longest running live comedy show in San Diego. Alan now brings this brand of professional clean comedy to Orange County.

Secret City Comics Society (SCCS) performs improvisational comedy shows suitable for all ages in downtown Fullerton. The shows feature comedic scenes and games made up by actors based on suggestions from the audience.

SCCS is available to perform shows for private and corporate events. They also offer improv classes to the public and to high school students as part of the Secret City high school improv league.
