New SuiteApp Can Help NetSuite Customers Increase Revenues and Margins By Managing Retail Processes Via a Single Internet Window.

The solution helps users manage the entire retail process from point of sale to production of management information. Built using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud development platform, the new SuiteApp can help NetSuite retail customers increase revenues and margins by boosting efficiency of sales transactions.

The announcement was made today at SuiteWorld 2011, NetSuite’s inaugural conference designed for NetSuite customers, solution providers, independent software providers, developers and system integrators. SuiteWorld 2011 is being held in San Francisco.

The solution features an easy-to-use touch-screen interface, barcode and manual product selection, simple multi-buy quantity input, discounting support, cash, check and card payment method acceptance, sales reporting by category, manager end-of-day report printing, customer loyalty scheme support, staff sign-ons, receipt printing with personalised logo, and store information and promotional messages.

Working with NetSuite

The new NetSuite application automatically synchronizes transaction input with NetSuite, and maintains an on-premise local database as a backup in case of network failure. Also, it supports the growth of loyalty schemes by supporting input of customer data using a barcode, swipe card, or other identification method, and can be configured to trigger specific actions upon scanning of the customer’s identification code.
