Vidoovy announces the release of its latest internet promo video. This one is for the township of West Orange, NJ. While most Vidoovy projects are focused on short, simple, affordable web marketing videos to increase foot traffic for small businesses. West Orange recently asked Vidoovy to create a larger piece to market their entire town. And since the Vidoovy mission is to redirect business traffic away from the big chains and malls and back to town centers this project was a logical next step.

After researching the town a simple script was created based on "invention". Why? Because the great inventor, Thomas Edison, had his factory and home in West Orange for the last half of his life.

West Orange, NJ, unfolds across the first and second Watchung Mountains in North Jersey with well over 1,000 acres of open land including most of South Mountain and Eagle Rock Reservations. The town is bordered by Essex Fells, Livingston, Montclair, Millburn, Orange and Verona, NJ

Vidoovy quickly identified the most impressive subjects to shoot from everything the town has to offer. 4 golf courses, the Turtle Back Zoo, Codey Skating Arena, Safari Mini Golf, Essex County Equestrian Club, Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center, New Jersey’s best events facilities, and dozens of restaurants.

There was also the bustling downtown area featuring the Thomas Edison National Historical Park that recently received $16 million in improvements as well as the thriving Valley Arts District anchored by the Luna Stage Theater Company facility.

At the end of the day Vidoovy crafted this search optimized video so that anyone who searches "West Orange, NJ" online will understand why Mayor Robert Parisi says, "Once you visit West Orange, you’ll want to stay."
