SACHEM's employee donation program raises $20,000 for the American Red Cross – Japan recovery fund.

SACHEM is committed to caring for the environment and efficient use of resources.
Even though we are only a small part of this relief effort, with the Japanese people resiliently carrying the burden, I am proud to see how many SACHEM associates felt compelled to step up and help.

The donation of $20,000 is a combination of SACHEM corporate and SACHEM employee contributions from the United States and Europe. All SACHEM funds raised through SACHEM’s employee donation program will be contributed through the American Red Cross of Central Texas.

“The Japan earthquake and tsunami is a significant tragedy that will take time to resolve," said John E. Mooney, Chairman and President of SACHEM. "A catastrophe of this scale brings out the best in people. Even though we are only a small part of this relief effort, with the Japanese people resiliently carrying the burden, I am proud to see how many SACHEM associates felt compelled to step up and help. We send condolences to all who have been impacted."

Thomas J. Mooney, President SACHEM Asia commented: “SACHEM and our employees are proud to be part of the relief effort. This is who we are. We want to reach out and help where we can. SACHEM Asia's and SNT's Mobius System® TMAH Recycling facilities were not impacted. While we consider ourselves fortunate, we feel the responsibility to support Japan during these trying times.”
