SCOUT employs a revolutionary new user interface that leverages the simplicity and intuitiveness of multi-touch platforms such as iPhones, iPads and Android devices. SCOUT allows novice users to locate, acquire, and verify a satellite communications link with little or no advanced training.
SCOUT combines all of the tools a SATCOM installer would need to set up, monitor and troubleshoot a satellite link into a single 6-lb. box, reducing the weight a field service rep (FSR) carries in some cases by more than 95%.

As a former Field Service Engineer, I would carry up to 150 lbs. of equipment in large transit cases all across the globe to setup and test satellite communications links.
