Raises $33,840 for Doctors Without Borders in Japan Disaster Relief Effort

Share Article, an online provider of mortgages, continues its community service program with a significant donation to Doctors Without Borders for the disaster relief effort in Japan., an online direct lender providing low interest rate mortgages, raised $33,840 in their 1st Quarter Community Service Campaign for Doctors Without Borders, a medical humanitarian organization. This donation will go toward providing disaster relief services for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Doctors Without Borders helps people in over 60 countries whose lives are threatened by catastrophe, neglect or violence.

Every quarter, makes a donation to a different charitable organization that is selected at the beginning of each year by its employees. The donation amount is based on the number of loans funded in the quarter. Last year donated a total of over $190,000 to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the Challenged Athletes Foundation, the San Diego Humane Society, and New Life for Haiti.
