MedTouch today announces the appointment of Tessa Misiaszek to vice president of Innovation. Tessa will lead market strategy and product development for MedTouch.
With over 14 years experience in the healthcare industry on both the hospital and consumer product side, Tessa brings deep insight into the complexities of modern healthcare. She has worked in sales for the pharmaceutical industry at Jannsen-Cilag – a Johnson and Johnson company, and served as a major gift officer assisting in the fundraising efforts for Massachusetts General Hospital and the UMass Memorial Foundation.
Misiaszek was Chief Operating Officer for Manhattan Cross Cultural Group, Inc. – a training and research organization committed to improving health care to diverse patient populations and eliminating health disparities. There she worked with healthcare organizations to implement online cultural competency training for providers and administration. Over the past year, she co-founded a nonprofit foundation called Nous Foundation, Inc. that works with healthcare organizations to implement video patient education on advanced care planning.

Tessa received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently pursuing her PhD in Health Professions Education at Simmons College in Boston.
