“Aramor is excited to offer SVP, we’re always looking for innovative payment solutions to offer our clients and we really feel that SVP is going to revolutionize online and mobile payments.”
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) May 17, 2011
Late last year, NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) announced the commercialization of Secure Vault Payments (SVP), a new form of electronic payment processing. SVP is a powerful e-commerce solution because it offers immediate authorization of an ACH credit transaction with guaranteed payment for on-line payments and e-commerce transactions. Understanding the tremendous benefits SVP can offer e-commerce merchants, Aramor Payments has begun to offer SVP as an add-on service to ACH processing, or as a standalone solution for their ecommerce clientele. SVP can be integrated into any merchant’s check-out site through Aramor’s API integration.
SVP allows a merchant’s customer to pay for their purchases through their financial institution’s website. Once the customer reaches the check-out point, they will choose the SVP option as well as their financial institution from a drop down menu; then, the customer enters their online banking login information and password. At this point, their financial institution will authorize the transaction before processing and send the merchant a real-time authorization. The transaction is then scheduled as an ACH credit and is received by the merchant within 24 hours.
“SVP is a beneficial service for both the merchant and the customer,” states Alicia Varga, Business Development Executive at Aramor Payments. “The merchant benefits in that they are able to foresee if a customer’s payment will clear, thereby eliminating any returned check fees. As for the customer, they benefit in the security of the transaction. Customers are directed to their own banking website, so there is no direct exchange of account information with the merchant site.”
“Aramor is excited to offer SVP, we’re always looking for innovative payment solutions to offer our clients and we really feel that SVP is going to revolutionize online and mobile payments.” Adds Aramor’s VP of Business Development Christy MacRiner.
