John Frieda® Product Advisor Tool Receives Top Webby Honor

Site is named as an Official Honoree in Leading Internet Excellence Competition

The results of the 15th Annual Webby Awards contained its usual list of nominees, but also something else: a distinction for the top 10% of all entries in the prestigious international competition. And when the judges assessed the almost 10,000 entries they received in this year's awards – including submissions from all 50 states and over 60 countries – they determined that the John Frieda® Product Advisor was deserving of top honors in the Beauty and Cosmetics category.

The John Frieda® Product Advisor (http://www.johnfrieda.com/productadvisor/), an online consultation tool that helps women find the right products for their hair care needs while also boosting awareness of the John Frieda® brand's 7 product categories, was developed by award-winning digital agency Enlighten for Kao Brands Company. The Webby Awards are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which includes such multi-disciplinary luminaries as Arianna Huffington, Harvey Weinstein, David Bowie and Richard Branson. As a Webby Awards Official Honoree The John Frieda® Product Advisor joins just eight other sites in the Beauty and Cosmetics category including InStyle.com, Glamour Beauty, Essence.com and Hearst Digital Media's realbeauty.com. Given that Website entries represent the majority of Webby Award Winners, Nominees and Honorees, inclusion in this exclusive list signifies, according to Webby organizers, "an outstanding caliber of work."
