Ventraq Announces Network Analytics Appliance

Ventraq announced today the latest solution in its Business Analytics platform to increase customer retention for communications service providers (CSPs). The Network Analytics Appliance (NAA) solution solidifies Ventraq’s position as an authoritative source of analyzing network data by making network data available to users who previously did not have the ability to access and analyze this data.

The solution is a rapid-deployment, data integration environment that provides the scalability required to handle variations of network data for CSPs of all sizes. The data gives companies a view of a variety of key performance indicators, such as where the network is failing, where added capacity is needed to keep up with demand or which services customers are consuming.

“By packaging these strong capabilities, we can quickly deploy the NAA and almost immediately provide CSPs with key performance indicators. The CSPs can use this information to promptly identify network related issues that are customer-impacting and quickly respond to their customers when their experience is less than ideal, thus increasing customer satisfaction and reducing churn,” said Steve Koudelis, a managing solutions architect at Ventraq.

The NAA includes three types of analytic applications that build on top of the collection and analysis of individual network transactions. Leading with the already released customer analytics, Ventraq will quickly follow with a revenue and cost management application and a network and capacity planning application. These applications answer many of the key initial insights required by the CSP.
