Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced its Florida resorts, Casa Del Mar in Ormond Beach and Daytona SeaBreeze in Daytona Beach will welcome guests who wish to attend the Coke Zero 400 at the Daytona International Speedway on July 2, 2011. The Bluegreen resorts expect to see an increase in the amount of race fans visiting their resort over this July weekend.
The Coke Zero 400 is a 160-lap, 400-mile stock car race held on the first Saturday of July at Daytona International Speedway. The race weekend kicks off on Friday, July 1, with Qualifying races and an autograph session. The official race, the 53rd Annual Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca Cola Race, begins at 7:30 p.m. Gates will open at 1 to allow race fans to mingle, cheer on teams and drivers and get seated.
Racing greats such as Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, and Greg Biffle were on the 2010 lineup, and are expected to qualify for the 2011 race. Country music star Martina McBride will perform a 60-minute pre-race concert prior to the race. This Daytona International Speedway appearance is a second for McBride, a four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and three-time American Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year.
