Application is available as a standalone product utilizing best practices in formatting procedures for Microsoft Word documents

Esquire Innovations, Inc, a leading provider of Microsoft Office integration software for law firms, announces the release of iHyperstyles 7, a styles and numbering application for Microsoft Word. iHyperstyles helps law firms implement best practices in formatting procedures by enhancing the styles and formatting options available in Microsoft Word. It is compatible with Office 2007 and Office 2010, and has been redesigned in this latest version to present a much improved ribbon and task pane approach, allowing users to simultaneously view changes to styles and numbering as they make them.

Previously, iHyperstyles was primarily purchased as part of Esquire Innovations’ iCreate 7 document production software. The new iHyperstyles 7 is now available for purchase as a separate program.

“We wanted to make iHyperstyles 7 available separately because even law firms with custom template packages still need help with encouraging and teaching their users the correct way to format Microsoft Word documents," said Randall Farrar, president and co-founder of Esquire Innovations.

By providing quick access to common styles formatting tasks such as font changes and paragraph alignment, iHyperstyles reduces training time, improves efficiency and increases the adoption rate of styles and proper numbering for beginners and power users alike.

“When we started to plan this version of iHyperstyles we really thought about a typical user’s work habits. We wanted to utilize the knowledge we have gained from years of working with law firms, in the area of which styles and formatting tasks users most frequently access and use, “ said Farrar. “The new features and changes made in this version are an accumulation of that knowledge, and a desire to provide our clients with powerful tools to make document formatting even easier.”

Features of iHyperstyles 7 include:

  • Cleaner user interface with streamlined ribbon and task pane approach
  • Dynamic preview in scheme management
  • Hyper-speed buttons for access to frequently used style modification tools
  • Enhanced task pane approach for managing title marks and style separators, and formatting changes to outline numbering
  • Powerful document clean up features to promote a firm’s best practices

In addition to iHyperstyles 7 and iCreate 7, Esquire also offers iScrub 7, an industry leading metadata management application; iRedline 7, for enhanced Word document comparison; and iDocID, which provides flexibility and automation to adding document IDs to Word and Excel documents. Together, the five products are available as the combined package iOffice System 7.

Esquire’s products utilize Enhanced Native Architecture ™ (ENA), a term coined by Esquire. ENA is the methodology for retaining the look and feel of Microsoft Word to promote streamlined workflow and reduce end user training requirements. In addition, by retaining Microsoft Word’s native capabilities, an electronic document can be used for collaboration purposes more effectively.
