Catapult Learning, LLC, a leading provider of K-12 instructional intervention and professional learning services, announced that Seppy Basili has joined the organization as Senior Vice President. The appointment continues the organization’s strategy of developing additional support and professional services in the area of school turnaround and transformation, managed instruction, and the common core curriculum. In addition, Basili will develop a more comprehensive strategy to better serve the needs of all children in private, religious, public, and charter schools.
Basili joined Catapult Learning from the International Center for Leadership in Education, a subsidiary of Scholastic, where he served as Vice President of Programs and Implementation . In this capacity, Basili led a team of more than 200 consultants who worked with school districts on school reform initiatives. Basili prior served as Senior Vice President at Kaplan K12 Learning Services, where he built the Custom Curriculum group that served many of the nation’s largest urban school districts. Basili also served as Director of Research at the Institute for Academic Excellence in Madison, WI. Basili has an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of California at Berkeley, a JD from Emory University, and a BA from Kenyon College.
