International Branded Services for the launch of a compelling new subscription video on demand service on the NXT platform (Dubai, UAE). The collaboration was announced by Anousheh Ansari (CEO - Prodea) and Malcolm Dudley-Smith (Executive Vice President–Business Management – Warner Bros.).
Plano, Texas based Prodea Systems is the market leading provider of simplified digital home solutions for the mass market. The WarnerTV branded service will offer around-the-clock, on demand access to hit television series and blockbuster motion pictures from Warner Bros. Entertainment. There will be more than 500 episodes each year of drama, comedy and sci-fi television series on the service. Programs featured on WarnerTV include “Friends”, “ER”, “Gilmore Girls”, “Without a Trace”, and “Smallville”, among others.
WarnerTV will also include a slate of more than 120 theatrical motion pictures each year, including worldwide hits and classics, such as the “Harry Potter” series, “Ocean’s Eleven”, “Ocean’s Twelve”, “The Shining”, and “The Matrix” trilogy, among others.
