I am always looking for interesting ways to present ethical fashion outside of the internet and this opportunity seems like a great fit.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 18, 2011
SET Boutique is excited for its second up close and personal event. The online fair trade retailer will host a booth at the opening weekend of San Francisco Bay Area’s Treasure Island Flea. The open air market’s grand opening is May 28-29, 2011 and plans to offer a spectacular treasure hunting experience for shoppers during Memorial Day Weekend. SET Boutique will have a booth in the Indie Designs section to promote ethical fashion ranging from fair trade jewelry to recycled lap top cases. Other market place categories are antiques and collectibles, vintage, home décor and garden, crafters, gardening, and new merchandise.
SET Boutique owner Lindsay Sullivan signed up for Treasure Island Flea because of the founder’s strong mission to “provide an affordable platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and products directly to the end customer”. “I am always looking for interesting ways to present ethical fashion outside of the internet and this opportunity seems like a great fit”, says Sullivan.
The market will run on the last weekend of each month, and SET Boutique has committed to the opening weekend so far. Admission is $3.00 for adults, and free for kids. The Treasure Island Flea is located at the Avenue of the Palms, and parking is free. SET Boutique will be accepting credit cards at the event.
