President Liam Collopy and Senior Account Manager Lee Runchey at LCO – Levine Communications Office (http://www.LCOonline.com) have won the prestigious 2011 Bulldog Award for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity, the Oscar of the public relations industry, for the second consecutive year.
This year, the dynamic duo won the award for Best Crisis Management Campaign of the Year after an A-list celebrity enlisted their aid during a personal crisis.
“The award is a poignant acknowledgment of our work and it’s an honor to be recognized,” Collopy said. “But, even more important, is our ability to have aided our client during his time of need.”
Last year, Collopy and Runchey earned the Best Arts and Entertainment Campaign of the Year award for their illustrious campaign on behalf of the iconic rock band KISS (http://www.KISSonline.com) in support of the band's album Sonic Boom and subsequent 44-city North American tour.
In addition, Collopy previously won the Best Arts and Entertainment Campaign of the Year award in 2006 for his stellar work on behalf of Hollywood stuntmen lobbying for a well-deserved Oscar category to recognize their extraordinary contributions to the art of filmmaking by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
