Evidence Based Interventions for High Conflict Families

The Fairfield County Bar Association, Family Law Committee Luncheon Program presented a program entitled Co-Parenting Solutions: Evidence Based Interventions for High-Conflict Families on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 12:30 pm. The luncheon and program was held at the Fairfield County Bar Association office at 970 Summer Street in Stamford.

Co-Parenting Treatment uses research-supported models to assist high conflict families before, during, and following divorce. The implementation of a unique model, called Multi Modal Family Intervention (MMFI), has been demonstrated as a beneficial in addressing co-parenting problems and complex child custody issues including parental alienation. A joint presentation by Eric Frazer, Psy.D, Maud Purcell, MSW, LCSW, Eric Broder, Esq. Deborah Noonan, Esq, and Allen Gary Palmer, Esq. will address the implications and strategies for best-practices when utilizing court-involved therapy interventions.
