Ms. Speak has spent more than 20 years in the life sciences industry, with extensive experience in health care and biopharmaceutical communications as well as sales. She will join the agency’s Salem, Massachusetts headquarters, where she will report to President and CEO, Donna L. LaVoie.
Speak will provide account leadership and strategic counsel and programming for several of the agency’s global public relations accounts. She will also focus on agency development initiatives. Previously, Ms. Speak was Vice President at global public relations firm Porter Novelli, responsible for client engagements ranging from global pharmaceutical R&D organizations to biotechnology startups. Previous clients include Applied Biosystems, PerkinElmer Corp., Avid Radiopharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D, DeCode Genetics, Amicus Therapeutics and Luminex Corporation. She previously held market development and sales management positions with GMP Companies, Genzyme Genetics and BioSource International (now part of Life Technologies).
