Legacy Data Access (LDA), an innovator in data storage and Web-based solutions, announced today that three hospitals have gone live with its LegacySuite solution.

Trinity Health's St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO), a 443-bed comprehensive, community and teaching hospital located in Pontiac, Michigan, selected the solution for data from its HealthQuest Patient Accounting system. With the go-live, Trinity Health has completed 15 implementations of LegacySuite. Based in Tampa, Florida, Baycare Health has gone live with the solution to capture legacy data from its MediLinks™ Respiratory and EMStat™ Emergency Department systems. Baycare has implemented LegacySuite enterprise-wide for its multiple systems. Jackson Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system that provides medical services to residents of Miami-Dade County and the surrounding area, will be using LegacySuite to obtain data from its Eclipsys® Powercenter and SHAS Patient Accounting systems.

A comprehensive solution set of data storage, real-time Web access, receivables management and reporting capabilities for retired healthcare applications, LegacySuite allows hospitals and other healthcare organizations to retrieve data through a secure and encrypted system. It also provides them with the capability to view records online, download them to a PC or print them via an Internet browser.

“By using our LegacySuite solution, all three of these hospitals will have the necessary data easily available for a number of years to meet organizational and regulatory needs,” explained Shelly Peters, CEO of Legacy Data Access. “With our support and services, their information will continue to work for them with immediate savings and benefits."
