658 Campus and Online Graduates Came Together at the Largest Commencement Ceremony Ever

Florida Institute of Technology awarded associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to the largest graduating class ever at the Spring 2011 commencement ceremony in Melbourne, Fla., May 7. Participants walking in the graduation ceremony included almost 100 Florida Tech University Online students.

“As a Government civilian employee, just pursuing my degree with Florida Tech has already impacted my life,” said Teresa Hines who graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Information Technology. “It has allowed me to obtain a new position and a promotion in a field I never dreamed of. Most importantly, I have met some amazing people from the staff, professors and classmates who have already made a difference in my life. I am honored that I was able to participate in the graduation ceremony to celebrate this special achievement with my family and all of my peers from the Florida Tech University Online degree programs.”
