Mudlick Mail, a provider of direct mail services for auto repair shops, has formed a partnership with Honest-1® Auto Care, the nation’s only eco-friendly auto repair chain. The partnership will help Honest-1® franchisees more effectively market their shops and grow their businesses.
Under the agreement, Mudlick Mail will offer exclusive direct mail packaging and pricing for Honest-1® franchisees. Honest-1® franchisees will receive a market analysis, design services, printing, labeling and postage as part of the company’s partnership with Mudlick Mail. Mudlick Mail will also provide on-site education sessions as well as free access to its learning center, which offers webinars, training videos and other resources designed to help auto repair shop owners make the most of their advertising programs.

Mudlick Mail’s direct mail programs are unique because they allow repair shop owners to target customers by income, neighborhood and even vehicle make. Using this approach, some of Mudlick Mail’s customers have increased their business by as much as 40 percent.

Mudlick Mail CEO Greg Sands founded Mudlick in 2008, after searching for years for the right advertising vehicle for the more than 20 repair shops he operates. Direct mail was the only method that allowed Sands to accurately reach high-caliber customers within the market area of his stores.
A company on the rise, Mudlick saw its sales rise to more than $7 million in 2010. Its customer base also increased significantly, from just under 100 in 2009 to more than 350 in 2010.
Honest-1® offers single franchise programs as well an area representative program. The AR program allows for acquisition of an exclusive territory for the purpose of selling franchises and servicing the franchises that are sold in that particular area. Honest-1® currently has repair centers open or in development in 14 states and is expanding nationwide.
