“Thanks to our features and services, users are becoming independent of the structures of the classic book market,” says Gunnar Siewert, CEO and co-founder of BookRix.

BookRix (http://www.BookRix.com), a free online community connecting more than 180,000 writers, readers and authors together in one place, will be attending and showcasing their free site features along with their upcoming author services at the Book Expo America next week in the International Digital Publishing Forum’s (IDPF) Digital Zone at exhibitor booth #2110.

Beginning this summer, BookRix will be offering eBook distribution services for all community members. With this added service, authors will be able to offer their book as an eBook through over 100 international online retailers including Amazon.com, Apple’s iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Google, and Sony Electronics just to name a few. The eBook sales prices and the eBook launch date are decided by each individual author whenever they are ready to distribute online. Once authors sign up their books for this service, within just a few clicks, BookRix professionals coordinate the rest, making it easier for authors to focus on what they do best: writing.

BEA BookRix booth visitors will be able to experience first-hand the new SocialBook© social media application launched by BookRix earlier this year as a first-ever online collaborative writing tool using social media content through BookRix, Facebook and Twitter.

BookRix member and new author R. Lynn will also attend BEA as a debut BookRix.com sponsored author who chose to forgo a traditional publishing relationship and opt for a more democratic and lucrative relationship offered to her by BookRix. A new generation of authors like R. Lynn has realized that social networks, including BookRix, are important to ensure reader approval and promotion of their books online for later success with book sales.

BookRix also will be presenting on the topic of “Free the Author in You,” with a look at their role in the future of the book industry on location at their booth along with live Facebook updates, photos and tweets, sharing their experiences directly with members and fans of the popular site who’s mission is to bring the possibilities of publishing to every writer with equal access and rights to tools and services in a focused online community connecting readers and writers.

Another piece to the author services puzzle, print on demand book printing services, will also be launched by BookRix later this. This will provide BookRix members and authors access to the largest distribution network worldwide, leveling the publishing playing field even further for aspiring writers.

“Thanks to our features and services, users are becoming independent of the structures of the classic book market,” says Gunnar Siewert, CEO and co-founder of BookRix.

Self-publishing with BookRix has several advantages for authors: absolute power of decision, fair profit sharing, transparent costs, extraordinary, contractual liberties and maximum flexibility with regard to product design.
