From the beautiful heart and soul of poet-author P.A. Tomberlin-Hightower comes her first book of poetry that expresses some Sonnets for the Soul. In her hope to bring inspiration, smiles, optimism, and strength, she weaves this tapestry of verses about her life for everyone to read, enjoy, and learn from.
Some of the words here are written from the author’s personal experiences in life; others are from deep within her soul. Though they may be simply put, they have meaning for the author. Every experience brings with it good or bad feelings. And she encourages readers to take what they can and build on the experience or take away what doesn’t apply to them. She wishes for all readers to open their hearts and minds as they turn the pages of this book.
“Do what you can to make your life and others pleasant and pleasurable while you can. It’s never too late to say I am sorry, I love you, I need your help, will you forgive me. Use your mind to create something good and worthwhile so all the world can benefit. Use your heart to reach out to others, touch someone with a smile. Don’t be afraid to feel. I pray I have said something you needed to hear,” says the author.
