Global Maximus Records, LLC, (GMR) announced today that the song ‘Bad Girl’ by country music artists “BadHorse” has been chosen as the exclusive anthem and theme song for the newly formed United Women’s Football League. The song will be a prelude opening sign on for television distribution and promotions.

Full contact women’s football is an international sport that is growing in popularity with a significant fan following especially in Europe and the United States. There are currently 103 teams in the United States with most NFL markets hosting highly competitive teams.

The difference between the UWFL and the NFL is that the players in the UWFL actually pay to play on a team and play the game. Imagine a league that plays for the love and passion of the game.

The television, IPTV and Internet broadcast productions of the games come tied to excellent beta ratings coming in at a 1.2 market share. It provides an exceptional platform with a reality television appeal that the producers hope to add as part of their new media distribution plan.

The hot new up and coming country band BadHorse, was selected by the UWFL to create a theme for the opening of all televised UWFL games similar to the theme of Monday Night Football performed by Mr. Hank Williams Jr. BadHorse’s next single to be released, ‘Bad Girl’ was a dead on target according to Edward Vakser of the UWFL.

The song is to be recorded and performed by BadHorse, who is earning the reputation of one of the top live performers in country music with the current #1 single “My Little Man” on the New Music Weekly chart.

“It is an honor to have a GMR artists be representing an entire international community” states Randall James, CEO of GMR. Having their song chosen has special meaning for band member Robert E. who played football for Auburn University and whose Father played in the NFL for 17 years. “These girls are actually participating for very little but yet the passion and athleticism is all there…I urge all of you to take the time and go check out a game and support this League.” Lead singer Adam Grant says “Bad Girl was an idea I had when I wanted to write a really kickin’, fast song….something really powerful to get people to move. I was super excited and honored to find out that the song has been chosen to represent the UWFL.”

The energetic upbeat song in Bad Girl is also being produced into video for television by Global Maximus Productions, Tradestar Productions (TSRR) and UWFL parent company; Artfest International, Inc. (OTCQB: ARTS).

The world premiere of the music video will be at the same time as the worldwide radio release of ‘Bad Girl’ by GMR. A DVD including all the bonus footage in the making of the video will be included in the soon to be released box set.

The ‘Bad Girl’ music video will feature players from around the world and shot from multiple locations using the World Champion Dallas Diamonds as the featured participants.

“The song was perfect, it’s like it was written specifically for us. The song has a nice wow factor, great rhythmic beat and energetic feel to it. Made me want to dance and that was mutual among all of us listening, we love it and can not wait to share it with the world”, states Edward Vakser, of the UWFL.

The song and video will be released to the public this summer as the 2012 UWFL Season theme song and anthem.
