Centric’s Storeworld Integrated with YESpay’s EMBOSS Managed Cards Payment Service to Offer Pan-European Coverage

No more interfacing with local, country dependent EFT suppliers is needed

Centric announces that its StoreWorld product suite, the end-to-end solution for Retail, is now integrated with YESpay’s managed debit and credit card payment service EMBOSS, that enables retailers to process EMV Chip & PIN and magnetic credit and debit card payments within seconds from their point of sale terminals.

The partnership between YESpay and Centric allows multi-national retailers to use a single and uniform EFT platform throughout the whole of Europe (35 European countries, including UK and Ireland), as well as in Canada and the United States, thus no more interfacing with local, country dependent EFT suppliers is needed. EMBOSS supports both off-line and on-line PIN verification ensuring it can deal with all credit and debit card payments. Pan-European merchants can significantly reduce their card processing costs by having a single merchant service agreement with Elavon and low monthly EMBOSS service costs. In addition, merchants can dramatically reduce the technical burdens and high costs of operating multiple card payment services in the different countries they have stores in – EMBOSS is a common payment solution for all stores regardless of location.

Centric chose to integrate with YESpay in order to offer to its customers in UK and Europe a secure, pre-accredited and multi-channel payment service. EMBOSS is generically pre-accredited with all major Acquirers in the UK, Europe and North America and it supports all major EMV credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Interac, Maestro, Amex, Diners and more. Fully scalable, EMBOSS can address the needs of the single location merchant as well as larger chains with 100s of stores.

Retailers can also benefit from an IP-based integrated solution and a web-based real-time transaction reporting module down t o individual terminal information. YESpay’s payment gateway, EMBOSS, is fully PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and supports enhanced security features such as Point-to-Point encryption and tokenisation, making sure that no credit or debit card data is exposed to the retailer or transmitted over unsecure networks.

Extra value added services include contactless payments, DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) and Tax Free payments, equally offered in an integrated fashion with the retailer’s point of sale.

YESpay offers its managed payment service through a SaaS (software as a service) model at a low monthly fee per EPOS system, providing fast access via its EMBOSS payment processing gateway and ensures service reliability and robustness through cloud computing architecture.
