RoofingBuddy.com, the on-line consumer service that matches roofing contractors to consumers, has announced significant expansion of its service area, according to Jeff Adams, President of the service. Roofing contractors in the cities of Orlando, Lakeland, Brandon, Wesley Chapel and Winter Haven have been added to the roster of pre-screened providers in the RoofingBuddy.com network, which includes both residential and commercial roofing companies.
“We have seen phenomenal growth in the use of our site by consumers who need a roofer,” said Adams. We know that word of our service was spreading, and so heading east of Tampa keeps our network current and available to more people. We are an online service, and so expansion is a matter of finding good, honest contractors we screen for quality, and then add to our roster. They are out there, and we found them.
Adams explained how the service works. “Let’s say a consumer has tile roofing, and needs to find a roofer. They come to Roofingbuddy.com, fill out a brief form explaining their need, and we do the rest. They are going to be contacted directly by a qualified roofer – not by a middleman – who works with tile, and whose work is good. The consumer saves hours of online searching, phone calls, and more.”
Adams went on to say that the contractors in the network not only span home and business proficiencies, but also install new roofing as well as provide roof repair. “When a consumer needs something fixed on their existing roof, having a choice of pre-screened contractors can be vital. Frankly, there are some shady guys out. They roam around after storms going door to door offering their services. People use them because they don’t have time, or don’t know how to find a good roofer. We are proud to provide a resource that helps consumers avoid rip-offs and avoid long searches for a roofer. “
Adams also pointed out that commercial flat roofing often requires quick service. “Flat roofs are notorious for springing leaks. A business person comes in Monday morning and sees that weekend rain is leaking into the building. That has to be fixed fast, or it only gets worse. One brief online form later, and he has a roofer on the phone who called him.”
