Service bureaus to partner with DocuLex to offer on-demand, cloud based Archive Studio software as a service for content management

DocuLex, Inc.(, creator of award-winning, business-ready document management software, announced today its plans to partner with service bureaus throughout the US, inviting the conversion services industry to become part of the DocuLex dealer network. Such partnerships will enable conversion services providers the opportunity to offer their customers a hosted solution for complete content management after the conversion process. The DocuLex Archive studio subscription-based software as a service is a 100% secure, browser-based solution that is an easy-to-use, productive electronic document management system for any business environment seeking secure instant document access. Archive Studio and its components enable collaboration, email archiving and compliance, knowledge management, customized workflow and records retention. Conversion service providers will benefit from offering the hosted solution to their customers by adding value to their existing customer base and attracting new customers with the offer of a complete solution for managing content after the conversion process, ultimately increasing revenue and having higher grossing sales overall. The Archive Studio subscription-based hosted solution is well suited for organizations with limited IT staff, and can be acquired for as little as $40 per user per month.

“For the Service Bureau marketplace, offering the DocuLex hosted solution is a great fit as there is not a significant amount of time or expense that needs to be invested in ramp-up to offer the solution to customers, and DocuLex stands right beside the Service Bureau to provide any and all support needed to the end user,” stated David Bailey, President of DocuLex. “Partnering with players in this industry just makes good sense – they do conversion for entities that don’t want to convert their documents to digital format in-house, and many of these companies need a way to manage their documents after the conversion process. They will be looking to the Service Bureau for a solution, and now the Service Bureau can offer one by reselling Archive Studio software as a service.”

Said Dante DePanicis, President of Stellar Documents, Inc., a conversion services provider in FL,“We initially purchased the server-based Archive Studio Software Suite from DocuLex as a great solution to manage our documents internally. After working with the product for a time, and with close communication from DocuLex, we realized there could be great value in offering this product to our customers. We can now offer them a solution to manage the documents we convert for them, and we also derive additional revenue from the sale as a DocuLex Dealer Partner.”

About Archive Studio
The Archive Studio Software Suite helps businesses access records from almost any location with a user-friendly interface that is driven by a web-based browser. From basic content management to enterprise level process automation, the software’s functionality allows users to improve control over document security, workflow, retrieval, collaboration and retention of indexed information and digital files. Components of the software suite such as WebSearch help to automatically index collected information into a streamlined structure.

WebSearch is the document management portion of Archive Studio. WebSearch may be utilized as a service in the cloud or acquired as an on-premise server-based solution.

WebSearch was developed for use throughout a business's operations to regulate and streamline the flow of documentation and allow secure content access from any location, anytime. The WebSearch user interface is similar, yet easier to use, to internet search engines such as Microsoft Bing, Yahoo and Google. Searches are performed by entering specific index field (meta data), full text content or date ranges, search history, search lists and saved searches, and direct integration of Archive Studio with Microsoft SharePoint is possible. Remote sign-on capabilities via the web eliminate the need for FTP transfers, fax or large email transmissions. These capabilities are complemented by almost any multi-function device or scanner at a given customer worksite. DocuLex’s numerous client industries, including medical, banking, finance, insurance, legal, real estate, government and mortgage can benefit from an easy transition of paper-based images into a centralized business application with the Archive Studio Software Suite.
