Mid-Size, National Agency Continues Growth With the SUBWAY® Brand

Austin-based Proof Advertising has 85 employees and over $60 million in annual capitalized billings.

The Los Angeles-area franchisee group of SUBWAY® restaurants announced today the selection of Proof Advertising as full service agency of record. The announcement comes after a review of undisclosed contenders.

Proof Advertising will be responsible for all strategic planning, creative development and media planning and buying to support the more than 1,100 stores in the marketing area.

“We knew Proof Advertising was the right partner based on their track record of success and their strategic approach to our unique business challenges and opportunities. They really stood out from the pack,” said Pete Patel, local board chair for the Los Angeles market.

The win comes shortly after the Chicago, Austin, Fargo and Minot markets of SUBWAY® restaurants awarded Proof Advertising similar duties late last year and brings the total number of stores Proof Advertising serves to over 5,000 across 32 markets.

The first work from Proof Advertising is expected to launch in Summer 2011.
