Airline Hydraulics Corporation (“Airline”), a leading regional supplier of fluid power and automation products and systems, has received ISO 9001:2008 certification after an extensive analysis of its quality systems by SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. By achieving ISO 9001:2008 compliance, Airline is committed to consistently providing their customers with quality products and services.

Released in November 2008, ISO 9001:2008 is the fourth and latest release of the Quality Management System standard set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2008 provides a number of requirements that must be fulfilled in order to ensure a continuous improvement environment that enhances customer satisfaction. SGS auditors confirmed that Airline’s Quality Management System is established and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standards.

“Our compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard assures our customers that we have a formal Quality Management System in place. An organization with an effective Quality Management System will typically meet customer expectations far better than an organization without such a system. More and more organizations are requesting their suppliers have ISO 9001:2008 certification. By achieving this certification, Airline will be more efficient and increase the satisfaction of our customers,” stated Charles Accisano, Airline’s Quality Assurance Manager.

Joseph Miceli, Chief Executive Officer of Airline, added, “I am extremely proud of all of our employee / owners for the commitment, diligence, and hard work that all have contributed to achieve this certification for the Company. This also is validation of the past efforts and focus on Total Quality that Airline has been known for in the industry and with our customers, and now has culminated in achieving this important certification as official recognition of the processes to support our goal of customer satisfaction.”

Headquartered in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, Airline Hydraulics Corporation has distinguished itself in the marketplace as a value-added distributor of fluid power and automation products with capabilities including engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, stocking inventory, service, repair, and installation.
