Female fronted Idaho Gothic Rock band Rott has announced their new vocalist, and is gearing up for their second full-length album. After an extensive international audition process, the new singer will be Anna of Griesheim, Germany. Eric Greedy Record Production in Los Angeles will produce their new album titled ‘Amor Eternus’.

“This is my dream come true, “ said Anna, “I will do my best for the fans of Rott. For everybody who loves this music.”

With Anna now in the line-up, Rott is poised to gain even more attention from fans in Europe where they have received recognition from magazines and webzines in the UK, France, Italy, Greece and The Netherlands. Rott is one of the artists featured in the CarnifexMetal eBook series Metal Queens currently available.

Their latest single “Bring Me the Flame” is rapidly becoming one of the top tracks for fans on their new label Ravenheart Music Records. The song is featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming thriller ‘Breath of Hate’ by Velvet Hammer films.

The bands music has been described as an influence of several artists. As Dave Smith from Ravenheart Music summarizes, “the music Rott play I suppose is similar to Lacuna Coil, Tool, Alice In Chains and Evanescence.”

Rott will be in the UK for the Ravenheart Music Rock Night festival introducing new vocalist Anna July 9th at The Asylum 2 in Birmingham, UK.
