It is said that to walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue. The new collection inspirational of poetry entitled Victory in Life’s Problems: To Help you in the Hurting (published by AuthorHouse) by Evangeline Carey seeks to provide guidance to readers in crisis and people who just wish a spiritual reaffirmation.

There never was a great soul that did not have some divine inspiration. Carey drew the inspiration for the poetry contained in Victory in Life’s Problems from her own pilgrimage through the trials that have been placed in her path. A cancer survivor who is now battling a renewed illness, Carey knows the power that people can draw from one another and their faith, as exemplified in her poem ‘Reassurance’.

Life is not so lonely
When we share it with a friend,
When we reach out to others
With a helping hand to lend,
When we comfort a broken heart
Or just give a tender smile,
Life is not so lonely
When with others we walk the mile.

The eloquent words contained in Victory in Life’s Problems provide a beacon of hope for those in need of a guiding light.
