We don’t feel comfortable making money out of people who are already struggling financially
(PRWEB UK) 24 May 2011
Financial information website IndependentFinancialAdvisor.co.uk has just launched a not-for-profit debt section of its website promoting the services of leading UK debt charities. The website which offers high quality, ethical, financial information on a whole range of financial products including pensions, investments, mortgages, savings and annuities, is offering the debt help section as a free service to give something back to the people who need it the most.
IndependentFinancialAdvisor.co.uk gives information and carries links to debt charities which offer free help and advice to people who have found themselves in financial difficulties. It also provides a link to carefully chosen debt management companies, but any revenue gained from referrals to these firms is given to support the work of debt charities that provide help and advice to people for free.
Founding director Toby Hughes says, “We felt that we wanted to do something not only for those people who are better off but also for those at the other end of society too. We don’t feel comfortable making money out of people who are already struggling financially but by offering free information and returning any revenue to debt charities we feel we are giving something back".
“Debt is a huge problem to many in our society and the sooner they act to clear their debts the better off they will be in the long term. So our aim is to provide trustworthy information and resources to make that possible.”
