Cortina Asset Management, LLC is pleased to announce it has attracted highly regarded investment professionals and has expanded its product offering by launching the Cortina Small Cap Value strategy and the Cortina SMID Value strategy. Both strategies are managed by a team led by Alexander Yaggy and will operate out of Cortina’s recently opened New York City office. Joining Mr. Yaggy are Andrew Storm and John Clausen.

Alexander Yaggy, CFA, has nearly two decades of investment experience and joins Cortina after co-managing the award winning Morgan Stanley/Van Kampen Small Cap Value Funds and the Morgan Stanley Small-Mid Value Fund. The combined strategies, serving both institutional and retail clients, had assets under management of over $2 billion and repeatedly outperformed their peers during his tenure. Prior to Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Mr. Yaggy served as a Senior Equity Analyst with Neuberger Berman and began his career with Legg Mason.
Andrew Storm, CFA, joins the team after working with Mr. Yaggy at Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he served as an analyst on the Morgan Stanley/Van Kampen Small Cap Value Funds and the Morgan Stanley Small-Mid Value Fund. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Storm served as an analyst at Lord Abbett.
John Clausen has more than a decade of investment experience with an emphasis in the Financial Services sector. Prior to Cortina, Mr. Clausen worked for the Mutual Series Group of Franklin Templeton Investments, a highly respected value-oriented manager. Mr. Clausen’s previous experience includes the State of New Jersey Division of Investments and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
