Oceanfront real estate sales are heating up as fast as the late Spring temps, John’s Island Real Estate Company reports. Seven Florida luxury properties were placed under contract around the second week of May alone - five of which were oceanfront properties.

Since January 2011, John’s Island Real Estate Company has either sold, or placed 55 properties under contract. More than half of those sales are oceanfront properties and in spite of the down economy in 2010, first quarter sales are up 67% over the same period last year–more than any competitor – in fact, no competitor even came close.
