Today Zaang Labs announced the first release of its flagship product, GameTime. GameTime changes the way that people work together by providing real-time collaboration capabilities on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform.

GameTime provides an agile, lightweight, collaborative environment that dramatically enhances its customer’s project execution capabilities and installs as a native SharePoint application. Unlike classic, heavy handed project management systems, GameTime focuses on providing the tools necessary to collaborate in real time in order to actually complete a project rather than just providing a reporting mechanism.

GameTime includes the following features:

  •     Real-time chat
  •     Real-time task status
  •     Real-time presence awareness
  •     Real-time integrated project execution metrics
  •     Real-time situation awareness of who is working on what
  •     Integrated project artifacts such as documents, milestones, decisions, and issues

GameTime is based upon a concept called Huddles. Everything that a team needs to execute a project is included in a huddle. A huddle can be created with a click of the mouse, and since it is based on SharePoint, no training is needed. Huddles are also security controlled, so only the team members granted access can enter the huddle.

GameTime transforms standard SharePoint deployments into a richer, more compelling environment for collaboration. With GameTime, It’s Time to Put Your Game Face On™!
