The Ugly Bugly introduces readers to a wiggly, giggly, and ugly bugly. Hanging on a leaf, Ugly Bugly feels completely alone. Little birds usually fly near him, only to tell him how unsightly he is. One day, without knowing, he turns into a beautiful butterfly. Ugly Bugly, having found a new beginning, starts flying up into the sky. But after enjoying his flight, he once again feels lonely. When will he finally find happiness?

Children will follow a tale of how an ickly and stickly bugly turns into a beautiful butterfly, all brightly and flightly. Bursting with vibrant illustrations in every page, The Ugly Bugly is a charming parent-child bonding tool that tells of beauty, friendship and finding happiness.

This book will be featured at the 2011 ALA Annual Book Exhibit in New Orleans, LA, on June 24 to 27, 2011.
