SafetyasaService.com is a safety manager’s portal to providing truck driver safety training online. Managers can administer online training to an unlimited amount of drivers with full access to the entire training library with no restrictions.

“We built this system so that you don't have to spend all your time trying to figure out how and what to train your drivers. We are safety professionals and we put all our knowledge and expertise into this site and its courses,” says Eric Haney from CDL Companies.

The online system works by allowing managers to add their drivers and staff members to a specially created group of their making, allowing them to assign the drivers courses to take. The system tracks a driver’s progress and updates the status of a class to “passed” once a driver finishes the course. Managers have total access to the reporting system which holds information on each driver and each course that driver took. When the driver passes a course, an already filled out certificate is available to be printed out.

With the federal government mandating that operators receive a Commercial Driver’s License, there has never been a better time use Safety as a Service for orientation, remedial, counter measurement, or recurring training to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Driver education classes can even reduce point on a driver’s license and insurance rates in most states according to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

Full access to the training library costs a low monthly cost of $50 per company, not driver. Course topics include CDL License, Vehicle Systems, Driving, Defensive Driving Class, Compliance, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, and Hazardous Materials.
