Nomination follows 3rd anniversary of crowdSPRING and its creative community of 91,000+, providing innovative crowdsourcing services to buyers worldwide.

crowdSPRING, the world’s largest online marketplace for creative crowdsourcing, has been selected as a finalist in the Internet Services and E-Commerce category for TechAmerica Foundation’s American Technology Awards, The Termans. The awards bestow the only national “Best Of” awards recognizing technology products and services across the technology industry. Nominations were vetted by industry experts and TechAmerica Foundation leadership.

“crowdSPRING is humbled to be nominated for the TechAmerican Foundation’s American Technology Award,” said co-founders Ross Kimbarovsky and Michael Samson. “We’re confident that as we further cement our position as a leader in the creative crowdsourcing category, the technology community will continue to see us take our services to new heights.”

crowdSPRING, which offers logo design, web design, graphic design, industrial design and writing services, has built a global community of over 91,000 designers and writers. Buyers post projects and name their own price on, creatives submit ideas, and buyers choose the ones they like best. On an average project, buyers receive more than 110 concepts. It’s standard for crowdSPRING to host more than 200 open projects at a time, and since launching in 2008, they’ve handled more than 22,000 projects. To date, crowdSPRING’s community has submitted nearly 2 million creative entries.

“This year we saw a number of nominations from many companies new to the competition” said Dallas Advisory Partners Founder and TechAmerica Foundation Chairman David Sanders. “We look forward to celebrating their achievements at the Technology and Government Dinner.”
