Summer 2011 marks the debut of Live Nation’s IDentity traveling dance music festival. It is the first of its kind to schedule major outdoor amphitheaters throughout North America.
Club Glow, Washington DC nightlife’s top dance music event coordinator, has been brought on to co-host the festival’s DC event. With Jiffy Lube Live serving as festival grounds, Glow and Live Nation are prepared to see (28) twenty-eight acts on (3) three stages before an estimated (22,000) twenty-two thousand fans.
Jiffy Lube Live has hosted past events such as Vans Warped Tour, America’s Most Wanted Tour, Crue Fest and Crue Fest 2, Ozzfest, Area2 Festival, American Idol Live, Dave Matthews Band and many more.
The amphitheater has a capacity of (25,000) twenty-five thousand, (10,000) ten thousand in reserved seats and (15,000) fifteen thousand on the lawn. The venue is owned and operated by Live Nation.
Club Glow Washington DC has served the DC nightlife community for over a decade, bringing top dance music acts such as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, and Tiesto numerous times to DC clubs. Glow recently held a (10,000) ten thousand-person massive with Tiesto at DC Armory on April 9, 2011.
With Club Glow and DC nightlife favorites Kaskade, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Chuckie and Steve Lawler; dub step superstars Rusko, Nero and Datsik; live sets by The Disco Biscuits, DJ Shadow, The Crystal Method and Booka Shade; and a host of other top acts; The IDentity Festival Tour’s Washington, DC Jiffy Lube Live stop will provide a diverse menu of dance music to quench the DC nightlife community’s thirst for quality electronica. Early bird discount tickets went on sale May 20 and have been extended through May 30.
- General Admission tickets include free roaming, lawn access and FCFS seating.
- Pit tickets allow all the perks of GA plus pit access providing intimate views of the artists.
- VIP tickets (100 available) include free roaming, no pit, but main stage access via a specially designed VIP structure.
