Nik Wallenda, King of the Highwire, will walk across a highwire suspended 100 ft. in the air between the San Juan Condado Plaza Hotel towers without a safety net

WHAT: Nik Wallenda, a daredevil for the 21st century, will attempt to walk across a 300 ft. highwire suspended 100 feet in the air, between the two towers of the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. As always when Wallenda performs, there will be no safety net. This walk is a tribute to his great grandfather, Karl Wallenda, who in 1978 at the age of 73, attempted the identical walk between the two towers of the ten-story Condado Plaza hotel. Unfortunately Karl Wallenda fell to his untimely death.
WHO: Nik Wallenda is a 32 year-old American daredevil best known for performing death-defying feats. The King Of The Highwire, Nik Wallenda has broken numerous world records and holds the Guinness Record for crossing the longest and highest highwire on a bicycle. Nik Wallenda is the seventh generation performer from the legendary circus family known as The Flying Wallendas. The Wallendas have been synonymous with impressive circus acrobatics and stunts since the 1700’s.

Please be aware, that traffic on Ashford Avenue will be diverted for approximately 10-15 minutes while Nik Wallenda is performing the wire walk.
