The SNUG West presenters will speak on a wide array of topics all focused for nonprofits to get more out of their Sage Fund Accounting and Fundraising solutions. Some of the presenters include:
Michael Golub, CPA, President and Founder of NP Solutions
Michael has over 20 years of experience working as a nonprofit system consultant and reseller of Sage Fund Accounting systems. Michael has worked with hundreds of clients designing and implementing accounting systems to meet the needs of each client. In addition, he is a Sage Certified Trainer.
Dave White, Co-Owner of RMBS, LLC
Based in Helena, MT, Dave is a leading software industry expert with over 20 years of experience supporting and developing add-on solutions for nonprofit and governmental organizations. He focuses his efforts on developing software integration and add-on solutions for Sage Fund Accounting software products. Dave is the software engineer that developed the Sage Fund Accounting HR Management and EWS modules.
Melinda White, CPA, Co-Owner of RMBS, LLC
Melinda is a CPA with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit accounting and auditing, in addition to the development of administrative software for private schools. She focuses her efforts in assisting Sage Fund Accounting users maximize the functionality of the Sage Fund Accounting HR Management and EWS modules and minimize the administrative time it takes to manager HR and Payroll.
Erin Welch, CPA, Partner, Jacobson Jarvis
For the past ten years Erin has worked as a consultant and auditor for not-for-profit organizations. As the consulting partner at Jacobson Jarvis she manages the software sales, service, training and consulting practice. Her experience as a member of both the consulting and audit teams allows her to have a unique insight into the connection between a not-for-profit’s financial reporting, its financial management and its ability to build donor support behind its mission. Erin is committed to helping her not-for-profit clients achieve their missions by better understanding and leveraging financial data.
Vicki Welter, CPA, Consultant, Jacobson Jarvis
Vicki joined Jacobson Jarvis in 2008 and works closely with her clients to craft a comprehensive software solution to meet their financial reporting needs. Vicki trains users of Sage Fund Accounting in and out of the classroom, providing in-depth on-site team trainings as well as providing training in a classroom setting as a Sage Certified Trainer. Vicki’s previous experience includes accounting management positions, managing and training staff in accounting systems, developing and managing internal control documentation, and preparation of financial statements, financial analyses and supporting schedules of financial data for audit and tax purposes.
Kent Arnold, CPA, President and CEO of RBP Methods
Kent Arnold is the President and CEO of RBP Methods. A CPA with extensive background in nonprofit and governmental audit and consulting, as well as systems integration and design, Kent works with organizations to make technology understandable to the average user. For over 30 years Kent has worked in, for, and around nonprofits and governmental units and has a great depth of understanding and compassion for the missions and tasks of these special corporate entities. Kent works with fund accounting software including Sage Fund Accounting™ and Accufund™ and holds degrees in accountancy and computer information systems.
Brooke Huling, Sage Software
Brook is the Sr. Product Manager for Sage Nonprofit and Government Solutions. She has been with Sage for seven years and has responsibility over the Sage Fund Accounting, Sage Grant Management, and Sage Virtual Services product lines. Her most recent endeavors include performing hundreds of customer interviews to help build the new Sage Grant Management application while using a new development methodology called Agile Scrum to build Sage GM from the ground up. In her prior life, Brooke was an accountant for several Austin based startups and property management firms. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, is married, and has two young boys that keep her very busy!
