eMailGanizer, the intelligent email reader for the iPhone, now enables iPhone users to delete, move, and rename email folders. eMailGanizer enables the delete and move folder operations using the edit button mechanism found in most standard iPhone apps. Another significant improvement to eMailGanizer is enhanced integration with the Toodledo web service.

GoodHumans announced today the release of the 1.3 version of eMailGanizer, the intelligent email reader for the iPhone. Previous versions of eMailGanizer already provided the ability to add email folders, but with this release, iPhone users can now delete, move, and rename folders. eMailGanizer enables this functionality using the edit button mechanism familiar to users of most standard iPhone apps. Another major new feature included in this update is enhanced integration with the Toodledo web service.

With eMailGanizer's new folder operations, an 'Edit' button appears at the top right of the "Folders" tab. Tapping on that button places the screen into edit mode. Once in edit mode, users can tap the control on the red circle to the left of the folder to make the "Move to Trash" button appear on the right. A tap on that button will move the folder to the trash, which can later be emptied.

Tapping and holding on the control on the right side of the folder row allows the user to move the folder to a different position inside the folder hierarchy. As the folder is moved, the potential destination becomes highlighted in blue as the source folder is dragged over it. The folder becomes a subfolder of the highlighted one when the finger is lifted.

Renaming a folder is accomplished by tapping an 'Action' button second from the left at the top of the screen while viewing the list of emails in a particular folder. Selecting the "Rename Folder" choice from the action sheet that appears presents a screen prompting the user to enter a new name for the folder. A tap on the 'Save' button at the top right of the screen after entering the new folder name completes the rename operation.

Another major change to eMailGanizer is improved integration with the Toodledo web service. This improved integration allows users to convert emails to tasks by prefilling the title of the task with the subject of the email and the notes for the task with the body of the email. The user can then edit either of those fields along with most of the other standard Toodledo fields, including context, due date, start date, status, and priority. The task is added to Toodledo when the user taps the 'Save' button at the top right of the screen.

About eMailGanizer
iPhone users that receives a large number of emails must figure out an approach to managing the sheer volume of messages they view on their phones. Some iPhone users take the time to manually file their emails into dozens of email folders. Other users store all of their emails in one giant inbox, making it difficult to find emails when they are needed. Both approaches are inefficient and drain productivity. eMailGanizer, the intelligent email reader for the iPhone, simplifies the process of managing email by intuitively presenting folder recommendations in order of relevance to the current email. Users can now stay organized quickly and easily by filing emails with a couple of taps.

Pricing and Availability
eMailGanizer is available in both an 'ad-supported' version and a 'pro' version, without advertisements. eMailGanizer Pro also includes bonus features such as larger email previews and the ability to view more folders at one time. It is available on the App Store at the price of $4.99.
