Rupert Murdoch used his address to the eG8 Forum in Paris this week to call for more investment in education to "unlock the potential" of the world's children. The News Corp Chair's observations that innovation in industry has not been reflected in education, echoed Bill Gates', Barack Obama's and educationalist Sir Ken Robinson's calls to action around how we teach our children.

“The Digital revolution....Unlocking the Potential of the World’s Children”

Whizz Education answers these calls; reflecting the needs of a working, professional world by offering an innovative online tutoring system that links homes and schools.

Says CEO Richard Marett:
“We know that implementing and driving online learning opportunities in a ‘triangle of success’ - that includes homes and schools- creates the educational effectiveness that is so desired by business and government. We have shown that creating a space that brings happiness in numbers to children, teachers and parents significantly raises numeracy standards. Equally importantly, the ability to tutor to each child’s unique ability will complete the transformation of classrooms into multi-dimensional learning environments, reaching beyond the walls of educational institutions.”

Maths-Whizz is the ERA Award-Winning numeracy tutoring system that builds confidence in children. It is used by over 300,000 students world-wide (including 4000 schools in the UK)and fits main-stream national curricula. Fostering collaboration, entrepreneurial spirit and self-directed motivation are central to this cyber learning environment.
