...for Traxs Nimbus as all back office tasks can be performed using Apple laptops and iPads as well as Windows computers.

Advanced Retail Technologies (ART) have now installed their new ‘cloud’ based EPOS system Traxs Nimbus at Charlotte Quest a new antique and gift shop in Marlborough.
“This was a great match of our new system with a brand new customer, opening their first shop,” said ART managing director Alan Buck. “The great advantage of the Cloud SaaS (Software as a Service) model is that there is no upfront cost just a modest monthly charge which covers till, hardware, all software and support.”
Charlotte Saker of Charlotte Quest said, “We specialise in art, furniture and gifts produced by local artists so Advanced Retail Technologies fitted in perfectly with this buying policy." Charlotte added, ”we had been looking for a system that was able to keep track of sales and stock so that we could look for trends in our customers’ buying patterns.” Traxs Nimbus Sales Analysis enables a user to see what customers have bought, check stock and re-order.
Another “must have” for Charlotte and Ian Booth, the people behind Charlotte Quest, was that that the system must be compatible with Apple Computers to access the Back Office as these were their computers of choice. This was not a problem for Traxs Nimbus as all back office tasks can be performed using Apple laptops and iPads as well as Windows computers.
