Centice Corporation, a pioneer in chemical verification and identification using Raman spectroscopy and computational sensor technology, announced today that it has received an additional $2.3M in funding to drive growth in hospital medication reconciliation solutions and drug identification in law enforcement applications. PINPOINT RX™, a low cost device for identifying prescription medications in Emergency Rooms and patient admission areas, answers the need for medication reconciliation while reducing time to treatment for patients. Also, recent success in Centice’s Beta program for law enforcement is driving the development of future product categories.

“We are very excited about our continuing efforts to provide a unique solution for emergency room medication reconciliation with PINPOINT Rx™”, said Centice CEO Scott Albert. “This new round is a testament to not only our current success but our future plans in the law enforcement market.”
