Professional Photographer gives photographers exactly what they need to profitably run their businesses.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 26, 2011
Professional Photographer magazine, official magazine of Professional Photographers of America, is the magazine that professional photographers need to read, according to the Magazine Association of the Southeast’s GAMMA Awards judges. During those recent awards, Professional Photographer was named the best business-to-business/association magazine in the Southeast.
Recognizing editorial and design excellence in magazine publishing, the GAMMA Awards validate Professional Photographer’s 104 years of helping readers excel in the photographic industry with professional advice and inspiration. In fact, the Gold top spots for General Excellence and Best Single Issue applaud the magazine’s overall performance and “highly practical content,” as one judge calls it.
Of special note, though, is the Best Service Journalism award granted to “The PPA Business Handbook,” a business guide for photographers created through the findings of PPA’s Financial Benchmark Survey.
“’The PPA Business Handbook' sets the gold standard for service journalism,” comments a GAMMA Awards judge. “Targeting its readership with laser-sharp precision, Professional Photographer gives photographers exactly what they need to profitably run their businesses. It delivers actionable advice presented in a variety of formulas.”
