“Gray’s and Greenwood” Package combines Play at Region’s Best Two Golf Courses

Lake Tahoe boasts more than a dozen golf courses around its shores and with the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe last summer, golfers now have premier accommodations to go with the region’s famous courses. “North Lake Tahoe is one of the best golf destinations in the country,” said Steven Holt, Director of Public Relations for the resort, “The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is the ideal luxury resort that allows access to golf and all the activities that Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Gray’s Crossing, a newly open to the public 18-hole course created by Peter Jacobsen/ Jim Hardy and Old Greenwood, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course are two of North Lake Tahoe’s premier golfing experiences. To welcome the Summer season, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe has combined overnight accommodations at the Tahoe’s first luxury resort with one round of golf, at either Gray’s Crossing or Old Greenwood.

The “Gray’s and Greenwood” golf package is available now through October 1, with rates from $249 per night and include one night accommodations and one 18-hole round of golf at Old Greenwood or Gray’s Crossing, including golf cart and practice balls. Additional rounds can be purchased through the Concierge Desk at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. Additional night stays may also be booked on the package, which include an additional round of golf.

Ritz-Carlton guests will enjoy championship golf throughout Lake Tahoe as well as preferred access and tee times at both Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing. The resort’s signature Mountain Concierge will store and stage golfers’ clubs daily on the slopeside terrace, as well as book tee times and provide information on the regions many courses.
