Springfield, MO (PRWEB) May 27, 2011
American National Property And Casualty Companies (ANPAC®) have a catastrophe claims team on the ground to assist policyholders in the tornado-stricken area of Joplin, MO. This team, along with American National agents and their staff, will be available to assist ANPAC policyholders impacted by Sunday’s tornado, particularly those in critical need of emergency funds.
Because its local Joplin office was displaced by the tornado, ANPAC has established a mobile claims center to assist its policyholders that need to report a claim and to get information about emergency funds. Please visit http://www.anpac.com for the most up-to-date location of the center, as it is subject to change.
ANPAC encourages those with damage to their property to take the necessary steps to prevent further damage only if it is safe to do so. Unless immediate action is needed to prevent further damage, it is requested that policyholders wait to complete repairs until an inspection of the property can be completed. If emergency repairs are made, the damage should be documented prior to the repair, if possible. All receipts related to repairs should be saved so they can be included in claim reports.
Policyholders that need to report a claim can visit the mobile claims center, contact the 24-hour claims hotline at 1.800.333.2860 or report their claim online at http://www.anpac.com from a PC or smartphone.
Policyholders are advised to follow the orders of local authorities in regards to entering the area around damaged property.
