The conference is critical as we try to find new funding models to scale social impact. I want as many people as possible to be part of the discussion.
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 26, 2011
Funders, social investors, philanthropists, and others dedicated to scaling successful nonprofits through collaboration and co-funding will come together June 15-16 for the Scaling Social Impact Exchange Conference 2011. A Symposium specifically for nonprofits will be held on June 14.
Ventureneer, with our partner Adin Miller Consulting, will host Blog and Tweet Central to provide almost live coverage for those unable to attend. As it did last year, Ventureneer will post blogs from all attendees as well a run a live Twitter feed.
Even better, Ventureneer has a free ebook , Scaling Impact: A Primer for Nonprofits, is now ready to download. The ebook summarizes for nonprofits the issues raised and ideas put forth at last year’s conference so they can get up to speed and a quick refresher for those who attended the conference last year.
“The conference is critical as we try to find new funding models to scale social impact. I want as many people as possible to be part of the discussion,” said Geri Stengel, founder of Ventureneer and member of the Knowledge Work Group of the Social Impact Exchange.
The ebook, a primer on scaling Social Impact, summarizes the issues of scaling from a nonprofit perspective and provides links that can prod people’s thinking about nonprofit scaling. It’s a hit-the-ground-running resource for those attending the symposium.
SIEX11 Blog/Tweet Central will provide a one-stop shop for blogs and insights from those attending workshops at the conference. The impressions, information, take-aways and suggestions of thought-leaders responding to the conference will be posted as they occur and readers will be able to share their own thoughts. To follow news and commentary on Twitter, use #siex2011.
“No one can be everywhere at once. This way, you can participate in the discussion at one seminar and find out what happened at a workshops that was held at the same time. You’ll get a richer, fuller conference experience,” said Adin Miller.
